AlphaThera has announced its relocation to a new larger laboratory and office space within the Pennovation Works Lab Building at the University of Pennsylvania.

The move will allow for the continued development of the company’s renowned oYo-Link® Antibody Labeling product range.

The new location has 5x more room than their existing site, combining both laboratory and office space.

Over the past two and a half years the biotech start-up has rapidly expanded their oYo-Link® site-specific antibody labeling technology to include a wide range of cargos. Several new additions are expected this year, including the eagerly anticipated oYo-Link® HyperBright® Fluorescent dye labeling range, which is due to be launched imminently.

The oYo-Link brand has continued to grow in popularity, garnering increasing interest from both commercial and academic institutions across the US and beyond. The relocation facilitates the expansion of their R&D and operations capabilities, enabling continued product development and ensuring that the company can meet customer demand while maintaining exceptionally high standards in both product quality and customer service.

Dr Andrew Tsourkas, Co-Founder of AlphaThera commented ‘This move is a major milestone for AlphaThera. We’ve seen significant growth since we first commercialized our oYo-Link product range, and this extra space will allow us to scale-up and broaden our capabilities, so that we can continue to build on the success of oYo-Link and continue to meet the demands of our growing customer base.’
